As the Supply Chain Analyst (BA/SME), you will develop, analyze, and plan supply chain trends, modelling solutions, and reporting performance. You will understand and interpret data, enabling supply chain decision making to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. You will also provide decision support and recommendations by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, as well as forecasting business trends to support the overall strategic and operating plans of the business and its supply chain. Additionally, you will:

  • Develop and manage initiatives and solutions to drive improvements in data and metrics visibility across the supply chain and end-to-end business
  • Optimize data flow
  • Create, plan, and publish relevant supply chain metrics proposals for streamlining data flows developing scorecards efficiently
  • Provide root cause driver analysis to support decision-making by effectively communicating and translating data and results into business insights and actions
  • Continuously work to create efficiencies and improvements within databases, procedures, and scheduling processes
  • Partner with IT to move developed data capabilities to enterprise solutions as needed
  • Communicate and present recommendations to all levels of staff and management regarding detailed implementation plans for metrics and scorecards, including automation
  • Evaluate, validate, and automate reports for operations management
  • Provide appropriate input into test design to ensure data integrity for investment decision purpose
  • Work with distribution center locations, corporate, and cross functional teams to ensure process changes are successfully implemented
  • Create documentation/Standard Operating Procedures for all process work

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis (supply chain operations preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, mathematics, business, or related area
  • Understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory operations, supplier reliability management, distribution center operations and planning, and transportation operations
  • Knowledge of financial concepts including revenue and expense, P&L, and cash flows
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Access, SQL, and Business Objects
  • Ability to travel occasionally
