As the Junior Systems Administrator, you will work within Resolvit’s IT Team to support our infrastructure and information systems. You will administer current networks, servers, and user devices, including hardware, software, and cloud computing platforms. You will also help install and deploy new systems on-prem and in the cloud. Additionally, you will:

  • Provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support over the phone using remote access tools
  • Travel about once a month (2 to 3 days at a time) to our remote offices
  • Perform recurrent systems administration tasks like software updates, backups, and reports
  • Set up new computer systems and maintain existing ones

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • 1 to 2 years of progressive IT support experience, preferably with a company with 100 to 400 users
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Windows 10 administration (setup, support, updates, GPOs)
  • At least 1 year of experience with Office 365 technologies (email, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint)
  • At least 1 year of exposure to Windows Servers support (2008, 2012, 2016) and related components (Active Directory, File Server, PowerShell Scripting, Group Policy, DFS)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
  • Superb customer service skills with an emphasis on phone support; a sincere desire to help others
  • A problem-solver by nature; a natural inclination to learn and come up with the best solution
  • Great organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and administration (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, routers, switches)
  • Exposure to server technologies (Hyper-V, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server)
  • Knowledge of MAC, iPhone, and Android troubleshooting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and executives

Great Additional Skills:

  • Exposure to Cisco Unified Communications VOIP (Call Manager, Unity, BE6000)
  • Desktop Central, Service Desk, PRTG, and Veeam experience
  • Spanish fluency
  • CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Network+ certification
