As the Application Support Analyst, you will implement best practice solutions for Maximo Cloud customers and partners.. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and services. You will also communicate efficiently and effectively on technical subjects to all audiences, regardless of their technical background. Additionally, you will:

  • Assess client’s working knowledge and utilization of Maximo
  • Support client’s efforts to add value, safety, and reliability to their core business
  • Educate and advise customers on solutions that fit within Maximo architecture and anticipate the documented IBM product road map. 
  • Document business requirements from users and stakeholders
  • Develop requirements into best-practice technical requirements for yourself and others
  • Implement SDLC best-practices for all assigned solutions
  • Contribute to solution review and change control processes as part of a team of developers and analysts
  • Receive or hand off work to others based on workload and timelines
  • Accurately estimate, manage, and track your time and to a more limited extent, the time of others
  • Participate in after-hours, on-call support for emergency requests on a rotational basis

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency with BIRT reports, automation scripts, Jython, Maximo Business Object, Maximo Integration Framework, Web services (REST and SOAP), flat files, XML, SQL, and Java
  • Certification in the administration of the IBM Maximo Asset Management product; if not currently certified, certification must be obtained within the first year of employment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks in a highly effective manner
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and systematic approach to task performance
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers, and external partners
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
