As the Program Manager/Agile Delivery Lead, you will drive multiple projects and teams to deliver the program according to budget and schedule. You will be responsible for working with new and existing Agile delivery and shared service teams while managing all aspects of the program including budget, communications, dependencies, execution, and delivery. You will also identify appropriate resources needed, help to assemble project teams, and assign individual responsibilities. Additionally, you will:

  • Provide input on resourcing to address bottlenecks and inefficiencies
  • Maintain, manage, and track budgets for multiple projects
  • Establish and update project plans/Kanban or Scrum boards with the teams to display the delivery of the functionality being created
  • Conduct Agile ceremonies such as stand ups, scrum of scrums, retrospectives, and planning events
  • Facilitate planning readiness by fostering a continuous exploration process which drives the synthesis of a vision, roadmap, and backlogs and through pre- and post- planning meetings
  • Facilitate the creation of Objectives and Key Results and ensure they are clearly documented, communicated, and delivered to meet customer needs
  • Communicate timely project status to all stakeholders
  • Manage risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues
  • Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and help them improve

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 5 years of Program Manager experience
  • Experience leading a highly matrixed project team
  • Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget
  • Solid knowledge and ability to apply the systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing IT solutions in an Agile environment
  • Proven problem solving and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability in team motivation, delegation, and conflict resolution
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively share information with customers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in an Agile or SAFe environment and familiarity with Agile concepts and roles
  • Strong focus on scope and delivery using Agile
  • Strong dependency management skills within and across teams
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and/or SAFe to enable coordination with Agile teams
