As the Network Engineer, you will perform necessary support to our internal customers, project teams, and design teams, including the implementation of approved designs, design review/consultations, and most importantly, supporting daily operational tasks for the Enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of operating the network while providing technical leadership and expertise to a diverse team of IT professionals. You will also provide advanced technical support during business hours and non-business hours on a rotating on-call basis. Additionally, you will:

  • Configure and install enterprise level network devices and services (routers, switches, WLAN, load balancers, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and QoS)
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
  • Resolve highly complex or critical incidents involving multiple enterprise services and lead and/or engage in Service Restoration and Root Cause Analysis Activities
  • Identify opportunities for internal process enhancement
  • Monitor support ticket queues and implement Business as Usual (BaU) customer requests
  • Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshoot network problems and outages; schedule upgrades; and collaborate with network architects on network optimization
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Create, maintain, and update documentation on all networking processes and procedures

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 2 years of experience with and a thorough understanding of configuring IPSEC VPN, DMVPN, SSLVPN, or GET/VPN
  • Solid understanding of routing protocols mBGP and ISIS
  • Experience with Cisco SD-WAN, IPSEC, and GRE
  • Experience with access control list (ACLs), VRF, Port Security, Traffic Shaping, Priority Queuing, Class of Service (CoS), and Quality of Service (QoS)
