As the Software Project Manager/Scrum Master, you will manage projects for an information and medical imaging software suite. You will ensure that compliance and regulatory policies and procedures are followed. You will also lead and coordinate products across the company’s multinational organization, which requires an understanding of how medical imaging applications can be designed, delivered, and implemented in accordance with the global business and regulatory requirements of the product. Additionally, you will:

  • Create and manage project schedule and task details
  • Plan, execute, and monitor scrum process (sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective) and scrum meetings
  • Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/scrum practices and values to delight customers
  • Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency, and radiate information
  • Establish and publish clear priorities among project activities
  • Track and support multiple simultaneous software projects, keep all stakeholders apprised of status and issues, perform risk analysis, and create risk mitigation strategies
  • Plan and coordinate the medical imaging software validation and verification using regulatory standards and compliant ISO and FDA
  • Mentor and coach team to successfully implement scrum and deliver projects on time and with quality

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager for software products
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team that was diligently applying scrum principles, practices, and theory
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline
  • Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the scrum approach (burndown technologies, retrospective formats, handling bugs)
  • Experience successfully managing complex development projects for different software products in parallel
  • Ability to work with and manage cross functional projects simultaneously
  • Expertise with all phases of the PMBOK or SDLC, especially in requirement and change control management
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches such as XP, Kanban, Crystal, and FDD
  • Experience with PMP, Agile, and scrum
  • Agile certification
  • Awareness of and experience with successful Agile techniques (User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games)
  • Strong skill with Google applications (Sheets, Docs, Presentation) and Microsoft project management applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TFS, and Project)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Team player with excellent relationship building, mediation and conflict resolution skills
  • Previous experience in Medical Imaging software regulatory processes and standards like FDA and ISO 

Great Additional Skills:

  • Master of Science in computer science
  • Project management experience of PACS or hospital information software
  • Expertise in requirement management tools such as Microsoft TFS, JIRA, or MS Project
  • Prior experience as a Senior Software Developer or managing PACS or medical software projects
