Are You Up to the Challenge?

Put your knowledge of technology and management consulting services to work in a consultative selling environment. As the Solutions Director, you will ensure the successful capture and delivery of consulting services and projects won through business development efforts. You will arrange and participate in meetings with customers and potential customers to probe business and IT requirements, uncovering outsourced, managed services, and project-based engagements. You will also create statements of work (SOWs) and responses to requests for proposal (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs) on both a proactive and reactive basis. Additionally, you will:

  • Coach and educate the sales team on technical concepts and implementation approaches
  • Assist the sales team in following up after proposals have been submitted and assist in tasks related to contract award activities
  • Engage and develop trusted relationships with client decision-makers and technical team leadership to promote IT architectural concepts and solutions
  • Provide oversight of projects and bundled staffing efforts after those efforts have been won, ensuring that Resolvit meets commitments with regard to timelines, deliverables, service-level agreements (SLAs), and Resolvit’s standard of quality
  • Provide assistance in reviewing and interviewing potential candidates to fill positions required for proposal and bundled staffing opportunities

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • More than 8 years of experience and a demonstrated technical proficiency in a wide array of technologies, including (but not limited to): software development and maintenance technologies (open-source and Windows), enterprise data management (MDM, Informatica), and business intelligence platforms (SAS, Tableau, QlikView)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field of study
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience selling technology projects and services
  • Ability to interact well with customers at all levels within the organization, from first-line technical to C-level personnel
  • Excellent writing skills and experience generating proposals
  • Technical background in managing and coordinating software development and/or other project implementations
  • Expertise within at least one of the vertical markets in which Resolvit does business and good relationships within that vertical market segment

Great Additional Skills:

  • Experience deploying and managing distributed software teams across onshore, near-shore, and offshore locations is highly desirable
  • Active relationship network of key business contacts in the Raleigh, NC or Cincinnati, OH area
