As the Network Services Engineer, you will provide leadership and technical guidance over the support of the platform, infrastructure, and solution products across multiple domains/solution areas, contributing to the future success of the business through innovations in technology. You will manage end-to-end service solutions and service levels. You will also manage staff across a globally diverse environment. Additionally, you will:

  • Maintain design authority (in association with architects) for all new and existing applications in the domain
  • Provide leadership, technical direction, and expertise to project and support teams composed of FTEs, outsourced resources from strategic partners, and software vendors
  • Ensure services are maintained and focused on customer value and compliance to relevant policies and procedures
  • Maintain deep understanding of key technologies and their strategic directions to enable effective impact assessments of any proposed strategic changes or design choices
  • Drive consistent approach to defining and embedding coding standards and drive continuous improvement through vendor partnerships
  • Proactively support Service Director to develop and deliver continuous improvement of application/infrastructure portfolio to enhance user productivity, increase system reliability, and reduce the total cost of ownership

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 3 years of experience supporting F5 or similar ADN deployments
  • At least 5 years of experience with design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of large ADN infrastructure
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience managing technical plans and strategic infrastructure supporting business wide performance solutions
  • Expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft systems, and associated components
  • Large Enterprise Active Directory design experience spanning multiple locations and business units
  • Multi-forest expertise with an understanding of Kerberos and NTLM, LDAP, and SAML protocols
  • In-depth understanding of Active Directory Replication, DNS, Site Links, Site Topology, Group Policy, Global Catalogs, and other core infrastructure components
  • Experience with Windows Server 2008/2016
  • Ability to use PowerShell to assist in the automation of tasks
  • Ability to consult with application and infrastructure teams on Authentication/Authorization requirements
  • Experience with engineering and design of Application Delivery Networks (ADN), load balancers, and application delivery controllers
  • Experience with DNS, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and IP Address Management (IPAM) architectures in large organizations
  • Experience/knowledge of F5 or similar ADN/ADC and Infoblox DDI platform
  • Experience in the design, implementation, and support of application delivery infrastructure for business applications
  • Experience in design and management of traffic management systems supporting Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Domain Name System (DNS), load balancing, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Experience/knowledge with diagnosing Complex DDI/ADN and network problems
  • Experience with IP Address Management (IPAM) and CIDR allocation strategies including IPv6
  • Experience with Agile and distributed decision-making
  • Ability to manage individual and team performance
