As the System Support Specialist (Tier 2), you will serve as a member of the information technology team supporting five biopharmaceutical facilities in the U.S. and Canada. You will participate in the development, coordination, and maintenance of the delivery of IT services. You will also manage license renewal and purchasing software licenses for servers and computers. Additionally, you will:

  • Maintain Skype for Business audio and visual conference system
  • Provide level 1 and 2 support to users
  • Resolve identified incidents based on established service levels and timelines
  • Support user requests through a centralized management platform
  • Follow up on service calls and document tickets according to the procedures in effect
  • Participate in team activities to improve and optimize the processes supported by the department
  • Configure and deploy the required technology solutions
  • Document current processes and technologies in place

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 5 years of computer engineering experience
  • Associate’s degree in IT or computer engineering
  • Experience purchasing and tracking software licenses for a company using Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center portal
  • Excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Strong technical problem solving skills
  • Autonomy and ability to adapt in a changing environment
  • Experience with SQL database and SQL queries
  • Experience with virtual systems
