As the Enterprise Data Management Analyst, you will join the IT Data Management department to support activities related to the information for finance, operations, quality control, and clinical. You will document data requirements, processes, and transformations in partnership with business data owners. You will also perform data troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation with improvement recommendations. Additionally, you will:

  • Inventory enterprise data sources and maintain data structures that support single source of truth
  • Define business requirements for reporting and data marts [MW2] for development and implementation
  • Facilitate data governance counsels to define data standards and prioritize data initiatives
  • Partner with business data owners to document data dictionary, data flows/map, reference data, standards, and reporting inventory related to production, quality lab, and finance functional areas 
  • Define reporting requirements for Microsoft Dynamics 365 AX Finance and Operations
  • Maintain reporting inventory
  • Support business in definition of KPIs 
  • Support the implementation of data governance and quality organizational framework and accountability
  • Define and provide ongoing enhancement of the data quality attributes, data quality dimensions, data quality metrics, and data quality scoring and reporting
  • Harmonize standards across business units through data governance
  • Assess and monitor data quality for critical business information
  • Perform root cause analysis and remediation through data management incident management
  • Work with third party data suppliers and internal systems to monitor ongoing data interchange accuracy and integrity
  • Provide data profiling and analysis resulting in improvement recommendations and support implementation of improvements
  • Define master data attributes for enterprise
  • Document ownership and source of record
  • Support development of data integrity plan for compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal compliance, consultants, and business units advising on data management best practices

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience defining reporting requirements for analytics tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • 1 to 3 years of experience defining and implementing data governance best practices at the enterprise level
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, or laboratory in the Biotechnology and/or Pharmaceutical industries
  • Proven ability to document business requirements and standards related to data functions, reports, data mart projects, and integration transformation rules
  • Experience working in large application programs as an effective matrix team member
  • Perform data profiling and analysis on data sources and writing assessments and recommendations
  • Demonstrated good data management practices and ability to influence practitioners to adopt
  • Experience working with GMP, GxP validated systems [MW3]
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools
  • Ability to speak French

Great Additional Skills:

  • Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, and Lean certifications or experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step or other system development methodology experience
  • Experience developing basic SQL queries
