As the IT Manufacturing Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the ongoing customer service support of IT manufacturing system solutions including network protocol support, systems maintenance, and optimization. You will be the IT Department point of contact for customer queries and requests. You will also e responsible for the development and delivery of IT services and help desk resolutions regarding site Manufacturing systems and maintenance schedules as required by management and business need. Additionally, you will:

  • Provide IT support for GxP qualification requirements with regards to Plant manufacturing systems IT execution requirements
  • Install, configure, qualify, and support Lab and MFG focused IT products and solutions for biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant systems
  • Evaluate system and hardware alignment of IT lab and MFG Plant systems with the infrastructure based on customer need
  • Maintain and implement improvements for the site's manufacturing infrastructure environment
  • Act as the functional IT SME in the planning, designing, and delivery of manufacturing solutions in accordance with IT strategy
  • Monitor KPIs of 3rd party systems vendors and services to ensure the maintenance of site plant manufacturing systems
  • Support short and long-term IT project deliverables of manufacturing systems solutions for the company
  • Represent site IT and participate in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy within their assigned service area
  • Support data retention, backup, and disaster recovery methods and plan in accordance with IT Department strategy
  • Align enterprise standards and processes to ensure integration of multi-vendor platforms in a regulatory environment in the best interests of the company, the IT Department, and the client
  • Be responsible for impact analysis and change control design and execution to existing systems to support business strategies and service up time
  • Develop IT support specifications for interfaces from existing to new systems as required by business need and/or strategy
  • Maintain the library of standardized procedures, change control documentation, and configurations for the site’s lab systems as impacted by IT Administration requirements
  • Provide support and documentation for incidents and problems 
  • Communicate and collaborate with IT staff, customers, and corporate colleagues at headquarters representing site client interests 

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a production IT environment supporting IT manufacturing application systems, hardware, hosting services, and network infrastructure areas
  • Bachelors degree; Master's degree preferred
  • Customer service experience working collaboratively with the business to identify, prioritize, and manage customer requirements to completion
  • Deep knowledge of GxP pharmaceutical environments and the impact of FDA/EMA regulations to dependent network infrastructures and applications
  • Knowledge of windows concepts including domains; Active Directory and its concepts; and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data center, and application software
  • Working knowledge of VMWare or other virtual software to ensure maximum availability of systems for the client
  • Clear understanding of TCP, IP, and other network protocols
  • Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, and other network services

Great Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience with IT systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing including SCADA, BMS, Chromatography Skids, Bioreactors and Fermenters, and site gowning protocol
