As the Policy and Compliance Analyst, you will perform compliance analysis and function as point of contact for the service. You will work with policy owners and subject matter experts to document policy or compliance requirements, with clear implementation plans (enforcement) and measures for compliance. You will also engage with policy owners and subject matter experts to capture policy or compliance gaps with ownership assigned, target dates for completion, and details about plans to address gaps. Additionally, you will:

  • Provide policy or compliance analysis and documentation, as required by Department compliance team
  • Manage exception process and tool stakeholder engagement, including communication of tool status, receiving and resolving tool support issues, and conducting monthly policy exception status reporting
  • Ensure that all support issues are acknowledged to user and resolved by support team
  • Understand and communicate Department compliance requirements to policy owners and subject matter experts

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • At least 7 years of experience in IT and 5 years of experience in information security compliance and common external frameworks 
  • Actively engage with stakeholders, evaluate compliance with vulnerabilities, and run meetings with little supervision.
  • Knowledge of business analysis and security
  • Experience with ISO 27001 & 27002, FISMA, NIST, security, and accessibility standards 
  • Experience with general IT security concepts, network security, and monitoring practices/methodologies 
  • Understanding of compliance reporting practices and methodologies 
  • Experience/knowledge of RSA Archer and other security-based software applications and tools
