As the Night Computer Operation/Technician, you will perform all periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, month-end, year-end) processing. You will perform nightly file processing. You will also support system and application upgrades. Additionally, you will:

  • Follow operating manual instructions and monitor the UC4 System to verify processes complete properly
  • Monitor and repair other automated processes  
  • Monitor availability of all ATM network and machines, connected networks, and communication links during your shift
  • Address outage and communicate to team
  • Maintain proper security measures and procedures to prevent unauthorized access
  • Communicate hardware repair and maintenance needs   
  • Maintain logs of maintenance activity and job failures within the UC4 job Documentation Tab
  • Actively communicate results of processing activities 
  • Promote honest and open communication throughout the organization  
  • Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the organization’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
  • Work with other departments to ensure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members
  • Be responsible for small project management

What You’ll Need to be Successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of one year of college level course work OR 2 or more years of related experience in the Information Services field 
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interrelation skills emphasizing quality work and ability to interact with individuals of varying PC experience levels
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in all versions of Windows and Microsoft Office   
  • Strong phone etiquette   
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally  
  • Appreciation of the diverse capabilities, insights, and ideas of others and ability to work effectively and respectfully with individuals of diverse backgrounds, styles, abilities, and motivations  
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices  
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications  
  • Good planning, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines  
  • Ability to be successful with limited direction  
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and a proven record of advancement  
  • Able to be bonded  

Great Additional Skills:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCDST, or HDI desktop technician certification
